Pond Formalin 3 is an effective treatment as a dip for diseases of pond fish caused by fungi, flukes and protozoans.

Suitable for pond fish and invertebrates.

Do not use with any other medications.

Instructions:
Add 1 2/3 oz per 100 gallons of water or 1 capful per 8 gallons. This will produce a concentration of 10 MG/L of Formalin. Can be used at twice its usual dosage if needed. A partial water change of 25% before treatment is recommended then remove carbon. Repeat every 24 hours until fish are cured. To prepare a dip: add 2 tsp per gallon to produce a concentration of 200 MG/L of Formalin. Leave fish in dip for a max of 50 minutes. Aerate heavily during treatment and remove fish at the first sign of stress.

Permoxyn has many uses. Permoxyn can be used as a disenfectant, as a treatment for bacteria gill disease, and as a bath to eliminate parasites from fishes. Also, Permoxyn is a water conditioner for ponds and aquariums, useful in the improvement of water quality by oxidation of excessive dissolved and suspended organic materials. The conditioner can be used as a quick and sure method to reduce dangerous high organic levels in freshwater ponds and aquariums. The chronic presence of excessive dissolved organics promotes the growth of potential disease causing bacteria and can damage the delicate gills of fishes. High levels of dissolved organics can interfere in the normal growth rate of aquatic animals. Permoxyn is useful to inactivate treatments that use Formalin or Formalin/Malachite Green. This product should only be used when there is evidence that excessive suspended and/or dissolved organics are present.

Permoxyn is a strong oxidizing agent which readily decomposes in the presence of various chemicals. Its reaction with organic materials produces carbon dioxide. The process oxidizes various dissolved and suspended materials in aquatic systems.

This liquid water conditioner is formulated to reduce the possibility of disease outbreak among injured or sick fish. It is ideal for pond hobbyists as well as professionals (shippers, dealers, wholesalers) who transport and handle large numbers of fish that frequently incur physical damage during capture and handling.

A combination of two powerful medications which have been scientifically proven effective in the control of many diseases of fishes caused by freshwater external parasites such as Ichthyophthirius (white spot disease), Costia, Trichodina, Chilodonella and saltwater external parasites such as Cryptocaryon and Amyloodinium.

The medication can also treat fungal infections in fishes. Rid·Ich+ is recommended as the best treatment for Ich (white spot disease). The Rid·Ich+ formula utilizes the less common but also less toxic chloride salt of malachite green.

Rid·Ich+ has been shown to be reasonably safe for use on fishes which normally cannot tolerate malachite green alone. 

Rid·Ich+ will not interfere with biological filtration. Rid·Ich+ contains a special fisheries grade formaldehyde and zinc-free chloride salt of malachite green .
